The Golden State Warriors are fresh off of a big win on Christmas Day and looking to carry some of that momentum into a matchup with the struggling Charlotte Hornets.

Charlotte upset the Warriors earlier this season, but that was one the road, where Golden State has struggled mightily.

Even though Steph Curry is still out of the lineup, Jordan Poole has stepped up recently, scoring 26 or more points in four of his last five games.

Charlotte hasn’t put things together with LaMelo Ball and Gordon Hayward missing a ton of time this season, but can it pull off another upset?

I have to side with the Warriors in this spot, as they are a much better team at home, going 9-4 against the spread as home favourites.

Charlotte plays at a fast pace, which should help it keep up with the Warriors but the team is also inefficient. The Hornets rank dead last in the NBA in offensive rating this season.

After upsetting the Grizzlies on Christmas Day, I think Golden State may be a little undervalued in the market when it is at Chase Center.
