Under 13 Division one cricket semi finals today

Two semi finals of the Under 13 division One inter schools cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association with the sponsorship of Sri Lanka Cricket will be held today (10) at Ananda Mawatha and Godigamuwa.

Royal College Colombo will meet St. Anthony’s College Katugastota in the semi final at MB ground Godigamuwa today.

Royal College advanced to the second round as runner up of their group in the first round and St. Anthony’s College Katugastota advanced to the second round as champion of their group in the first round. Royal College beat Ananda College Colombo in the second round and St. Anthony’s College Katugastota beat Zahira College Colombo in the second round.

Royal College Colombo beat Mahinda College in the pre quarter final round and St. Anthony’s College Katugastota beat Wesley College Colombo in the pre quarter final. Royal College Colombo beat Dharmapala College Pannipitiya and St. Anthony’s College Katugastota beat Mahanama College Colombo in the quarters. Dushane Udawela will lead Royal College Colombo and Sanithu Gunatilake will lead St. Anthony’s College Katugastota.

Peterites take on Richmond

St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya (A) will meet Richmond College Galle in the semi final at Ananda Mawatha today (10). St. Peter’s College (A) advanced to the second round as champion of their group in the first round. Richmond College Galle advanced to the second round as champion of their group in the first round. St. Peter’s College (A) beat St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa and Richmond College Galle beat S. Thomas’ College Mt. Lavinia in the second round. Richmond College Galle advanced to the quarter final round according to the points.

Quarter final match was tied and bonus points tied between St. Peter’s College Bambalapitiya (A) and Trinity College Kandy in the quarter final. St. Peter’s Bambalapitiya advanced to the semis according to the average points in the previous round. Richmond Galle beat St. Joseph Vaz College Wennappuwa in the quarter final.
